Only one returned

This last week we went back to check on the families whose houses burned down a couple of months ago. We went to check and see what had been done with the supplies we had given. We really weren’t sure what we would find. As we pulled up to the neighborhood where 5 of the 7 houses in it had burned, we were pleasantly surprised to see two very nice tin-roofed houses in the process of being built. There were two families and a mother to one of the family members that had had houses burned down, and they were building two big houses in place of the 5 little grass houses that had burned down. The mother would now be living with one of the families and the houses had extra rooms in them for storage of supplies. We had given them the tin and nails for the houses, but they acquired the wood and additional tin to build with themselves. #gallery-810-2 { margin: auto; } #gallery-810-2 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 100%; } #gallery-810-2 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-810-2 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */

As we sat and drank salty coffee with them, we were able to share the story of the 10 lepers that were healed and how only one returned and fell at the Son’s feet and gave thanks. These things that were given to these people were not given from us, but rather from the Father and He deserves to be thanked for all that He has done for them and for us. They readily agreed that all the good that had been done for them – the clothes, the seed corn, the building materials, the house visits – were from above and that they were grateful for them. Please keep remembering these families and our visits (there are more to see) that they would have ears to hear, that this all would be a testimony to Him.
